Helicopters all over the world are a lifeline for many communities when natural disaster strikes. We hope we are never needed, but when the phone rings it’s a privilege to be able to help people in need with our helicopters.
EMERGENCY RESPONSE SERVICES
Emergency Response
During natural disasters or declared states of emergency, our helicopters are ready to support relief efforts across Canterbury. We offer vital services such as aerial surveying and footage, and the transport of people and essential supplies.
Fire Fighting
Each summer as it gets dry our helicopters are ready on standby to help Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) fight any wildfires that start throughout the greater Canterbury region.
Search and Rescue
We respond to PLB activations, avalanche incidents, and support AOS and Police operations. We’re prepared and available to assist wherever needed.
